Step 1: Open the CA 540 form

Go to CA 540 Pg 1.

Step 2: Mark the return as amended

Check the "Ifthis is an amended return" box.

Step 3: Override Sch X lines 2 and 5

Go to Sch X and check the box at the top to override lines 2 and 5.
