This article explains what the TPG rejection code 1893 means and what you should do when you see it on an Advance Plus e-file submission.

⚠️ Before You Begin

You may see the following full text message:

"1893- Credit amount requested greater than maximum request amount.""

Any Advance Plus application that is submitted will reject for 1893.

🛠️ Resolution

The ERO does not need to do anything to correct these. TPG will work through them on their end to clear them out.
