Option B: Amortize
Use this when you need to amortize the Business Start-up costs.

To Amortize, go to Schedule C, page 1, line 13 and jump to New 4562 pg 1 - Depreciation and Amortization.

On form 4562, page 2, Part VI Amortization, select the first field in the Description of costs column, and jump to the NEW Asset Wkt.

On the Asset Wkt, on line 3 - Method, choose AMORTIZ.
