Step 1: Reindex the database

To resolve this issue, complete the following:

  1. In SureFire, click the Tools menu.
  2. Select Utilities/Setup Assistant.
  3. Click Tools.
  4. Select Reindex Database.
  5. Click Select All.
  6. Click Start.
  7. Close the Database Utility window and restore your returns.
      


Step 2: Run SureFire Control Repair (if needed)

If the error persists, complete the following:

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs and Features.
  3. Locate the SureFire install.
  4. Right-click the install file and select Repair.
